99ers is the slang term for cops on the planet mars, they are a massive network of operatives and a.i's who operate under the direct authority of the U.M.G ( united mars government ), they are outfited with special gear to give them an advantage against the tech savy gangs of mars. 99ers live to fight crime. "we are justice, we are the future, we are god" is their motto. the 99ers fight all crimes from the low life low tek scum of the streets to the high ranking on the most wanted list of hitmen and killers. they have complete control over the lives of millions, only the s.w.a.t. units rank higher in authority. 99ers are mostly power hungry assholes driven by a desire to have power over other people and their lives, you know the guy that bullied you in school, well he's probably one of these scumbags. they use brutal methods to achieve their goals, and will not hesitate to kill in order to get the job done. 99ers have a saying about their street name, "if i was born in 1999 I'd be a pig, if i was born in 2099 i'd be a 99er."
